The Moolabandha cushion as the name suggests is not just regular meditation cushion, in fact its triangular shape assists in application of Moolabandha (Root Lock). Its shape supports the natural curve of the spine by allowing the lower limbs and the pelvis floor forming an equilateral triangle allowing the weight of the body fall right in the center balancing the center of gravity of the body. It further assists for the body to able to sit in meditation for comparatively longer durations. . Its shape provides a natural downward slope, which rotates the hips forward and creates a comfortable upright posture for the back. The central triangular angle allows the heels to rest naturally close to the body and natural root lock.
