Description of class Part I (approx 30 minutes)
- Mediation - Breath, Spinal column, Chakras (5-7 minutes)
- Pranayam (breathing exercises) - Cleansing, Balancing, Heating, Cooling, Calming (15 minutes)
- Eye exercise (2 minutes)
- Joint and gland exercises (5 minutes)
Benefits: Increasing memory, focusing ability, concentration power, improving vision, joint range of motion, increasing lung capacity, relieving SAD.
Part II
- Asana - Sitting Asana, Kneeling Asana, Lying on Back Asana, Lying on Abdomen Asana, Lying on sides, Inverted poses, standing poses, Balancing, Poses. (25 minutes)
Benefits: Strengthening, Calming, De-stressing, Healing, Balancing and Invigorating.
Part III
- Final/ Deep Relaxation : Through Mental Visualization / Mantras /Auto Suggestion /Music (10-12 minutes)
Benefits: Neutralizing negative thoughts & emotions, overcoming fears & Phobias, communion of body-mind-spirit, unwinding mental stress, coping up with hectic work schedules.
