Marma Chikitsa + Mantra + Yogis Glow Ayurvedic power

What are Marma Points? Marma points are the bridge between the physical and the subtle body. The word Marma means sensitive or vulnerable. There are 108 main marma points in our body which act as access point to the subtle body. They are the meeting points of dosha, prana, tejas and ojas.

What is Marma Lepam? Marma lepam is a paste made up of ingredients (flowers, herbs, fruits, roots, spices etc) which helps in bringing a balance of doshas when applied on specific marma points. This is a form of transdermal application - when the cellular intelligence (agni) is awakened by infusing the marma region with the agni of the specific ingredients.

When to apply Marma Lepam? The best time of the day is before going to bed, the best time of the month is full moon or new moon, the best time of the year is equinox.

Mantra + Marma? The reason mantra is combined with marma chikitsa is to act as a catalyst and amplify the impact of the practice. Mantras are precise dosage of vibrations which when recited with intention, awareness and focus, infuse the mantric vibrations into the body/ specific region to fasten the healing process.
