No Prana - No Yoga Know Prana - Know Yoga

Pranayama is not a technique but a realization of the life force within. The primary source of energy for Yogis/ Yoginis from time immemorial has been prana instead of food, sunlight and water. Yogic texts talk about the importance of when to breathe, how much to breathe and how to breathe. The 12-pranas flowing in 72,000-channels of vitality govern our appetite, elimination, digestion, vision, hearing, mental states, sleep, immunity, movement as well as stillness. These 12-pranas are the basic foundation of the advanced states of meditation and state of Yoga itself.
